Amitabh Bachchan Hails Working With Son Abhishek as a 'Great Blessing'
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who has shared the screen with numerous prominent stars, recently revealed that collaborating with his son, Abhishek Bachchan, has been one of his most significant learning experiences and a profound blessing.
In a heartfelt blog post, the veteran actor shared a picture featuring himself and Abhishek, where the latter appears to be explaining something while Amitabh listens attentively. The setting seems to be a studio, with headphones resting on Abhishek's lap, suggesting a break from a shoot. However, details about the specific project remain undisclosed.
Amitabh Bachchan wrote on his blog, "The joy of creation .. surpasses all else .. they that can, are blessed .. spending evenings and late nights with them is a learning in itself ..I learn each day... It is a blessing .... when Son and Father create together .. it's the biggest learning and the biggest blessing (sic)."
Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan recently announced his upcoming film, Kaalidhar Laapata, scheduled to premiere on July 4. This film narrates a touching story centered around second chances.
Directed by Madhumita and supported by Zee Studios and Emmay Entertainment, Kaalidhar Laapata features Daivik Bhagela and Zeeshan Ayyub in pivotal roles. The film unfolds in rural India, chronicling the journey of Kaalidhar, played by Abhishek, an aging man who absconds after discovering his family's intentions to abandon him.
Along his journey, Kaalidhar encounters Ballu, an energetic 8-year-old orphan, marking the beginning of their unforeseen adventure. Ballu’s vitality and curiosity reignite Kaalidhar’s passion for life. Together, they embark on a spontaneous road trip, fulfilling items from a bucket list.
Abhishek Bachchan’s recent appearance was in Housefull 5. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the movie features a star-studded cast, including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Nargis Fakhri.
