Sean "Diddy" Combs reportedly faced a terrifying incident while incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Centre (MDC) in Brooklyn. According to reports, the music mogul was threatened with a makeshift blade.
Charlucci Finney, a longtime associate of Diddy, revealed that the rapper woke up to an inmate holding a makeshift blade to his throat. Finney described the incident as a "warning," suggesting that the intention was not necessarily to harm Diddy, but to send a message. "If this guy had wanted to harm him, Sean would have been harmed," Finney stated. "It would only take a second. I believe it was a message - a warning." It remains unclear whether security intervened during the incident.
Concerns about Diddy's safety arose during his trial earlier this month. Following his conviction and subsequent prison sentence, his legal team requested a transfer to FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, citing the facility's drug treatment program as beneficial for his rehabilitation.
Diddy has officially filed a notice to appeal his conviction and sentence. The appeal will be reviewed by a panel of three judges in the United States Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit. Further documentation outlining the defense's arguments is expected to be submitted in the coming weeks.
