The exact cause of his death is yet not confirmed, the reports suggest that he had been unwell for some time and was reportedly neglecting his health as mentioned by Mid-day.In an interview with our website ETimes, brother Rahul had revealed that Mukul had been admitted to the hospital for eight days before his demise, due to poor eating habits. He further said Mukul had completely stopped eating for four to five days before passing away. Rahul added, “He felt lonely, and he had lost interest in life. Usko zindagi jeene ka jazba nahi tha.” Also, the 'Son Of Sardar' actor even denied many projects despite Rahul encouraging him to return to acting.Mukul was last seen in 'Son Of Sardaar 2', alongside Ajay Devgn, Mrunal Thakur, Neeru Bajwa, Ravi Kishan, and Sanjay Mishra. The film reached the cinema halls after his death and sadly this was his last on screen appearance.
