India's Union Cabinet, under Prime Minister Modi, has approved a bid to host the 2030 Commonwealth Games in Ahmedabad. This decision includes signing a Host Collaboration Agreement and providing financial support to Gujarat. The Games, featuring 72 nations, aim to boost tourism, create jobs, and inspire young athletes, utilising facilities like the Narendra Modi Stadium.
