According to early estimates from industry tracker Sacnilk, "F1" has grossed an impressive Rs 15.12 crore net in its first two days. The film opened with an estimated Rs 5.5 crore on Friday, followed by a remarkable 75% increase on Saturday, bringing in Rs 9.62 crore.

Notably, the English version of the film contributed a significant Rs 13.97 crore to the total earnings, with Rs 5 crore on Day 1 and Rs 8.97 crore on Day 2. The film is also available in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

With these figures, "F1" has surpassed Kajol's Hindi horror-thriller "Maa," which earned Rs 10.30 crore in its first two days. Pitt's film is currently leading the box office race as it heads into Sunday.

Globally, "F1" is projected to make a splash, with estimated earnings of $140 million in its global debut. However, this figure is still less than the film's substantial $200 million production budget.

Directed by Joseph Kosinski, known for "Top Gun: Maverick," and written by Ehren Kruger, "F1" was created in association with the FIA, the governing body of Formula 1. The film boasts a star-studded cast including Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Lewis Hamilton (also a co-producer), Javier Bardem, and Sarah Niles.

Adding to the excitement, Bollywood star Deepika Padukone expressed her admiration for Pitt on social media. In a recent Instagram story, she posted, "Brad Pitt. That’s It. That’s The Post. IYKYK (If You Know You Know)." This cryptic yet enthusiastic message sparked considerable reaction from fans, many suggesting that the actress was impressed after watching "F1."

All eyes are now on whether "F1" can maintain its momentum throughout the weekend and surpass the Rs 25 crore mark by the end of Sunday.
