Speaking on JioHotstar’s "Champions Waali Feeling Phir Se," Sharma reflected on the team's triumphant run, which culminated in a thrilling final against South Africa at Kensington Oval, ending India's 17-year wait for the title. "It’s the pitch where everything happened! Barbados will forever be in my veins," he declared.

The final match was a nail-biting affair, going down to the wire before India secured the win, showcasing their resilience and composure under pressure.

Beyond the final, the entire campaign was a testament to India's dominance, remaining unbeaten throughout the tournament.

One of the most memorable moments was the high-stakes clash against arch-rivals Pakistan. "It wasn’t just a game," Sharma remembered. "Two days before the match, we were locked in — tight security, fans everywhere, you could feel something special was coming. It felt like a festival had taken over."

India prevailed by six runs in a tense, low-scoring contest. Jasprit Bumrah's exceptional performance, taking 3 wickets for 14 runs, earned him the Player of the Match award.

Despite an early batting slump, Rishabh Pant's courageous 42 off 31 balls steadied the ship, helping India reach a total of 119. "On that pitch, his 42 was like scoring 70," Rohit noted, acknowledging the significance of the innings. "We knew 140 was par, but with our bowlers, even 119 could work."

Sharma lauded Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh for their excellent execution of the bowling strategy. "Bumrah is a weapon — he takes wickets and dries up runs. Arshdeep’s been brilliant too, and they were crucial in pushing the game in our favour."

From the electrifying atmosphere of the India-Pakistan match to the nerve-wracking final in Barbados, Rohit Sharma's reflections pay homage to a team that created lasting memories for the nation.
